Short term experts for EC Framework Calls

Together with competent partners Swisscontact is currently participating in the implementation of Lot 10 projects

The Framework Contract is a procedure for awarding service contracts for EU external activities; it is used as an instrument for fast and transparent recruiting of experts for activities of the European Commission’s external aid programmes. The FWC is therefore a strategic tool enabling the Commission Services’ to deliver timely, cost-effective and focused assistance at short-notice.

For each of the 12 thematic lots there are several consortia which receive invitations to submit proposals for short term projects. These invitations are on short notice; usually the consortium has 14 days to come up with an offer. Another 14 days later, the European Commission has evaluated the submitted offers and agreed on the best one. The assignments do not exceed 200.000 € in value.

Swisscontact Germany is a member of a consortium for Lot 10 “Trade, Standards and Private Sector”. Specific areas of expertise requested can be found here.

We are constantly looking for dynamic experts with at least 5 years experience in the specific fields mentioned above. The scope of the requested services relate to the full project cycle, ranging from identification to final evaluation.
